sub mp 5

Tired, bent into herself

on the seat opposite,

thudding ear in-podded

against the wailing world,

trawling her way

thru image shoals

of bottom-feeding

magazine celebs,

sighing, she frets fingernails

the way a cat’s mouth

slyly sharks its way

through fish bones.
